Cule

Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 July 2026

These terms cover your use of getcule.com and the Cule application ("Cule"). Cule is an independent project run by an individual developer, offered free and currently in alpha. By downloading or using Cule, you agree to these terms. Like our privacy policy, this is kept short and honest.

It is alpha software

Cule is early software, provided free and "as is". It will change, and it may break, lose data, or behave unexpectedly. Please do not rely on it for anything critical, and keep your own backups. We may change, pause, or discontinue Cule or any feature at any time.

Using Cule

You may download and use Cule for your own personal or development use. Please do not resell it, or reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute it, except where the law expressly allows. Cule's own application code is not open source.

Templates and community content

Cule can load templates, including ones made by other people. Templates can run code in your browser. We do not create, vet, or control community templates, and we are not responsible for what they do. Only import templates from people you trust, and treat them like any script you would run. You are responsible for what you install.

Coding agents and other tools

Cule is designed to be shaped by connecting a third-party coding agent, such as Claude Code or Codex. Those tools are provided by others under their own terms, and may have their own costs. You are responsible for your use of them and any charges they incur. We are not affiliated with, and not responsible for, those third parties.

Acceptable use

Do not use Cule or the site to break the law, infringe someone else's rights, or interfere with or disrupt the service. That is about it.

No warranty

Cule and the site are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law. We do not promise that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data, profits, or downtime, arising from your use of Cule. This does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited (for example for death, personal injury, or fraud), and it does not affect your mandatory consumer rights.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Cule evolves. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using Cule after a change, that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and any dispute will be handled by the courts there. If you are a consumer, you may also have rights under the laws of your own country.
